Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ProTrixPlus collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.
1. About this policy
It applies to the ProTrixPlus website and dashboard, together with our Terms & Conditions. We handle personal data in line with Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules and, as it comes into force, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We decide why and how your data is used - in the language of that law, we are the data fiduciary.
2. What we collect
- Account details - your name, email address, phone number (not asked when you sign up with Google) and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your Google email address and name.
- Your agreement - when you accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy, and which version.
- Trading connection - your MT5 broker server and login number, the state of the connection, and identifiers MetaApi.cloud gives your connection. Your MT5 password is passed to MetaApi.cloud to create the connection and is not stored by us.
- Trading activity - the strategies you subscribe to and your settings, the orders sent for you and their results (symbols, sizes, prices, fills, profit and loss), and the balance information needed to run the service.
- Payments and wallet - payment references (UTR), amounts and dates, wallet deposits, charges and withdrawals, and the payout details (such as bank or UPI) you type when you ask for a withdrawal. We do not collect card numbers.
- Referrals - your referral code and who referred you.
- Messages - emails you send us and the service emails we send you.
- Technical data - IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps in server and error logs, plus an audit log of important account and payment actions, kept to run and secure the service.
3. How we use it
- to create your account and sign you in;
- to connect your MT5 account and run the strategies you subscribe to;
- to process payments, keep your wallet, work out commission and pay referral rewards;
- to send service emails - temporary passwords, password resets, payment and subscription updates and security notices;
- to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, fix problems and enforce our Terms;
- to meet legal, tax and accounting duties and answer lawful requests;
- to improve the product, using aggregated or de-identified information.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.
4. Why we may process it
You give your consent when you sign up and tick the box. We also process data where it is needed to provide the service you asked for, and where the law allows for legitimate uses such as security, fraud prevention and legal compliance. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 9), though we may then be unable to provide the Service.
7. Where it is processed
Our providers may store or process data on servers outside India. When they do, we use providers that apply appropriate security, and we transfer data only as the law allows.
8. How long we keep it and how we protect it
- Retention. We keep your data while your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, accounting and dispute reasons. Some records - payments, the wallet ledger and the audit log - are kept in a form that cannot be edited or deleted and must be retained even after you close your account. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
- Security. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based admin permissions and access controls, and we keep your MT5 password out of our database. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your password and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold and how it is used;
- correct or update your data (you can already change some details in your profile);
- erase your data, subject to the records we must keep by law (section 8);
- stop using your data on the basis of your consent, by withdrawing it;
- name another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act for yourself.
Write to protrixplus@gmail.com from the email address on your account and we will confirm it is you. We reply within a reasonable time and as the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 provides.
10. Children
The Service is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think we have, please tell us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version and date are at the top of the page; for a material change we will tell you in the app or by email.
12. Grievance officer and contact
For privacy requests and complaints, write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within one month.
